Sauce Junkie Slathers Harrisburg Days in BBQ

This past weekend our own Michael Winkleman spent his Saturday saucing up the local Harrisburg Days festival with his own custom BBQ sauce. It was a great turn out for the Harrisburg Days festivities – lots of great local vendors, activities and great eats! Here at 724 we like to think of ourselves as brand agents by day with a touch of foodies on the side – so being part of developing the brand behind the great sauce has been a pure pleasure for our creative side and from the bottom of our stomachs! We are looking forward to more local events for Sauce Junkie as well as a mid-summer, cross country trip for another client which will have us sampling lots of local fair. Stay tuned for our cross-country adventure in branding with a side of yum.

724 Recipe: Zucchini Pancakes

What can you do with all that zucchini that is coming out of your garden. Its Everywhere! Try this recipe for zucchini pancakes. You won’t believe how good they are.

Zucchini Pancakes

1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
salt and pepper to taste
1 1/2 cups shredded zucchini
1 egg, beaten
2 tablespoons chopped onion
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
Sour cream.

Directions

In a bowl, combine the flour, Parmesan cheese, oregano, salt and pepper. Combine the zucchini, egg, onion and mayonnaise; stir into dry ingredients until well blended.
In a large skillet, melt butter. Drop zucchini mixture by cupfuls into skillet; press lightly to flatten. Fry until golden brown, about 2 minutes on each side. Drain on paper towels. Serve with sour cream if desired.

Quick Tip: Stop resizing

Stop resizing.

How often do you adjust the width of a file column in Finder when you’re looking for a file? 2? 4? It probably depends how deep your file structure goes. Stop resizing! Use this tip the next time you are diggin for a file:
Hold the option key while hovering over a file name that has the (…) in the middle it will immediately display the whole name in a pop-up window. This way you won’t have to resize the width of every column in list or column view.
